Take your next space from drab to fab when you have a think about blue with pink. What do we love about these two colors? Their versatility in design! Soft neutral tones like the Lichene from Abitare La Terra or the Ivoor in Cape Town add a sense of soothing. The technique in making the stained glass collection, Kiss My Big Fat Glass, create a calming effect as you can see the transition of tones in each color. Mixing the Cotton Candy Kisses, from our Half Baked Collection, can evoke a feeling of compassion and composure. Adding a white like You Don’t Snow Me from Tongue in Chic can bring in brightness. The fuse of colors work so well that in 2016 Pantone combined them for their first ever blend of 2 colors for the color of the year! So, now are you in sync with blue and pink?

Neutral, open-minded tones…check. Textures…check. Fun shapes…check. Just because Brandi’s Tan Isn’t From The Sand, doesn’t mean she’s a Basic B, and you don’t have to be either! Our new porcelain wood-look tiles are the perfect start to a blank canvas, floor or wall! Keeping the design of a room open and neutral can allow you to accessorize with your own personal style. After all, nobody said neutral had to be boring! A rippled wall ceramic like our Abitare Bianco adds a sheen and crispness to the room. You can incorporate fun shapes like Tongue in Chics’ Don’t Be A Shell Out Triangles or the Half Baked Whipped Cream Honeycomb Hexagons for a modern look. Take a rustic turn with Cape Town’s Shark Tooth Serge in Ivoor or the White Monochromic 8” x 8” from our Nico Mozaics collection. If you want to keep it classy you can use a marble mosaic like our Mod Rocks, Square Peg Round Hole Border, always a great finishing touch. Keeping it simple with glass is always an option, mosaics like our 2” x 6” Wanderlust Taupe-less in St. Tropez and stacked mosaic Bazaar Encounters in Marrakech are versatile and and easy to care for. Keeping an easily adjustable design along with emphasizing your other design elements such as furniture and greenery will ensure your space will be anything but basic!
